I currently only play the guitar. I have been playing for almost two years now and am self-taught. I originally only wanted to be a shredder and tried to learn Paul Gilbert licks and lines from metal songs. Lately I've been studying music theory a lot though, and I've been listening to some classical music in addition to my metal diet. Right now I'm trying to find a good guitar arrangement for Lacrimosa. It seems that starting out my guitar playing with hours of practicing complicated solos makes learning the music theory seem pretty simple. I know I did it ass backwards, but it worked pretty well.

I am interested in leaning to play any other instrument I can get my hands on. Right now that's just the harmonica, bass guitar, and keyboard. I'm trying to work those out right now.

I also am in the school choir and consider myself to be an okay singer. I had originally joined as a joke with a friend so we'd have a class together, but I have come to find the class is actually fun, and it's exposed me to a lot of beautiful works of music (along with the theory).

Edit: Lacrimosa: Found an arrangement for the piano part. For the vocal parts I looked up the actual sheet music and transcribed it to guitar. This is the very first time I've ever done this, so I'm naturally pretty satisfied with myself.
