| | | Leita Serwen Name: Leita Iris Serwen (LEE-tah EYE-ris s-AIR-win) Title: High Priestess Occupation: Priestess of Queen Zelda Nohansen's Royal Guard Date of Birth: March 14th, 2032 HC Age: 19 Zodiac Sign: Pisces Species: Hylian Sex: Female Hair: Sterling silver Eyes: Green ( Example) Height: 5’ 1” (155 cm) Weight: 102 lbs (46.3 kg) Appearance: Leita is a girl of astounding beauty. Hers is a very innocent and gentle beauty like that of an angel or a timid fairy. Everything physically about her seems to echo the truth of her sweet soul. Her small size gives the sense of her fragileness. Her silver hair might be strange for some to see, almost mystical if they are unused to seeing the shade on such a young girl. Her green eyes are the windows to her sensitive, innocent, kind, and pure soul. Everything about her seems to sing of innocence and beauty, but it also screams breakable. Head – Her silver hair is long and straight, flowing down near her elbows. It’s silky and fine with just enough volume so that it doesn’t just hang flat on her skull. She prefers to keep it parted neatly down the middle. Her bangs are almost as long as the rest of her hair, reaching a little past her shoulders. They frame and flow around her face. Leita’s eyes are a dark emerald green, and tend to be big and wide at times, expressing her innocent and pure nature, and not at all suggesting any kind of stupidity. They’re also good at expressing the number of emotions Leita can’t seem to keep off of her face.
Her face is heart-shaped and the structure of the bones adds to her delicate looks. Always petite and delicate features. It follows with her nose, mouth, and jaw, flowing around her eyes and in her nearby light eyebrows. Even her ears are kind of short and slim for a Hylian’s. They’re pointed like the rest of her race’s. Her nose and ears turn pink in the cold very easily. Leita is strangely pale for having lived in a desert for seven years of her life. Her skin tone is that of a cream ivory, complimenting her light pink lips. It is very smooth and soft to the touch. Body – Leita is short and petite. Her small and slender body is soft, for she spends most of her time growing herbs, harvesting and preserving them. She more often reads and studies her magic and alchemy than practice combat. Leita does like to go for jogs to clear her mind and keep her body healthy. She makes her own soaps, shampoos, and lotions, which keeps her skin and hair smooth and lovely. Her feminine curves are not as pronounced and generous as the more sensuous woman’s tend to be. Leita’s shape is obviously feminine, but her curves are gentle like her soul. Her breasts are small but they fit her body perfectly. She has no scars for she has always been able to heal any injury of hers with her magic. It is also less hairy than a female human’s body, due to being a Hylian. Her hair is so light it is hardly noticeable on her legs anyway. Clothing – Her outfit is subject to change, of course, but she tends to like the many shades of gray for her cloth tunics. They tend to be sleeveless and paired with black leather belts to hold them to her figure. They’re often combined with faded black leggings. Leita does not wear skirts or dresses when traveling or in preparation for possible fights and battles. She often wears her light leather boots of dark brown. They hug her small feet and are built more of stealth and agility than strength and durability. These boots reach partly up her calves. Her traveling cloaks range from grays to shades of brown and green. When in a more relaxed setting, she often wears her mage’s cloak. It’s light gray and has long baggy loose sleeves, much like a long light coat. It reaches down around her knees. It’s termed her mage’s cloak mostly because she wears it while she studies. It makes her feel warm, cozy, and secure. Weapons: Saria’s Stave – Leita’s staff is about four feet (122 cm) tall made out of the wood of the deceased adult Deku Tree. The wood was bleached to bone white and on top wooden tendrils curl around a glassy but jagged emerald. Hylian and Kokiri symbols and letters are carved and burned into the wood, often spiraling down the staff. It was a gift made by the Sage of the Forest. It rests in Leita’s left hand. Ruto’s Ring – It is about a fourth of an inch wide (a little less than 1 cm) wide. It’s a white bone band with symbols made out of sapphires and embedded along the ring. It was made by the Zoras and blessed by the Sage of Water. It sits on the middle finger of her left hand. Armor: N/A Carried Possessions: When traveling, she always carries around a black leather duffle bag. It’s often filled with her potion vials, ingredients, tools, food, water, and money. Tools and Ingredients - Listed below are the tools and ingredients necessary for Leita's more ritualistic, holy, and complex magic. Candle - A thick white candle, about 2 1/2 inches thick and 7 inches long. The wax was created from honey-seeking fairies and the wick is braided unicorn hairs. It's set into a deep red lava stone rock that had a hole carved into it so that it can hold the candle. Sage and Sweetgrass - A bundle of sage and sweetgrass woven together. It's about 1 1/2 inches thick and 6 1/2 inches long. When in use, it is paired with a sea shell dish to hold it while it smolders and smokes on the end. Chalice - A fine crystal chalice, about 6 inches tall with a cup of 3 1/2 inches wide. Water Skin - Just a leather water skin reserved for the purpose of making holy water only. Blessed Salt - A 3 pound leather bag of salt that is often blessed before hand. Potions - The potions listed below are those that Leita always makes sure she carries when she goes out. One must be careful when mixing potions. It’s best not to take more than one at a time. Taking a second while the first is still in affect will most likely cause the drinker to become ill and they’ll puke up both potions, disrupting their affects. Spoiler: Potion List Health (5) – The famous blood red health potion. Leita always carries many doses of these. Her recipe is so affective that often it takes only one vial big enough to fit in one fist to heal. However, depending on how extensive the damage done to the body is, it may require more doses. It cancels out most poisons, drugs, and venoms, and returns their system to a normal state. Mana (2) – The bright green potion is a restorative for Leita’s mana. She does not carry many of these because she is often the only Hylian mage in her group, and they work only for those who use the same type of mana as she. Hylian mana. Two vials are enough to restore all of her mana points. Health and Mana (2) – This dark blue potion is a combination of a health and mana potion. These are mostly for Leita’s use, for its double use of restoring mana, though it still can be used as a health potion on others. Liquid Courage (3) – The clear liquid of this potion often makes one question the truth of its nature. Any living creature that drinks Liquid Courage will find their health, their eyesight, their mental acuteness and willpower, their physical speed and strength—the limits of all of these things become nearly twice their norms. The affect of the potion lasts for five minutes. Infinity's Favor (1) – The potion is silver and white, shimmering and swirling around each other. It enhances one’s chances. Suddenly everything seems to come together. They’ll know exactly the right thing to say at exactly the right time. Every concern and doubt will vanish of their mind. In fact, it’ll almost be blank. Blank enough to really see events as they happen. Their timing will always be perfect. They will have a trust in the universe’s ability to bring them what they need. There is nothing to fear when one drinks this liquid gold. They’ll be blessed with clarity of mind and luck. The universe will be on their side. It lasts for an hour. Camouflage (2) – This potion is clear but always seems to glitter and move with colors of the rainbow. When one drinks this potion their body becomes like a chameleon’s, only better. They’re more see-through around the edges and take on all the colors around them perfectly. However, it does not do the same for their clothing. So one must be willing to go naked, otherwise it won’t be very effective. It lasts for two hours. Flash (3) – This shimmering white potion is contained in a small vial. Once smashed upon the ground it creates a blinding flash, stunning most in the immediate area. It serves mostly as just a distraction to get away or gain an upper hand. Smoke (3) – This whirling gray liquid is much like the Flash potion. It’s contained in a slightly larger vial. Once smashed open and the liquid touches the air, it instantly becomes smoke that spreads quickly through the air. It clouds vision, makes their eyes burn and tear up. If inhaled it causes much discomfort and heavy coughing. It also assaults the sinuses. It does not cause any lasting damage. Knock Out (4) – This potion is a light and fairly translucent purple. Three of the four vials Leita keeps in her bag are much like the Flash and Smoke potions. They were brewed so that once they touch the open air, it become a light purple gas which causes those within range to faint within five seconds. It knocks them out for about an hour. The other vial is not reactive to the air. Instead, it can be applied to a cloth and pressed over another’s nose or dripped into their food and drink to have the same affect.
Skills/Magic: - Leita is sensitive to auras and can often feel magic. She can sense when a spell is being cast and feels the flow of energy while the spell is in action. She’s good at analyzing the structure of the spells, so she can often understand how unfamiliar magics and spells work after seeing and feeling it done at least once.
- She’s a medic, skilled in treating a number of injuries and medical conditions. Leita is also experienced in assisting in child birth and child birth complications. She, surprisingly, doesn’t have a weak stomach and isn’t afraid to get her hands messy with blood and a number of other bodily fluids. She’s something of a doctor, but still somewhat primitive because she comes from a medieval kingdom. Her magic and potions are often combined in these skills, which makes it more effective than your average doctor. Leita is amazingly skilled in the arts of healing.
- Leita is very talented with potions and plants. With this knowledge she can create potions that can increase physical and magical abilities, have healing properties, and serve as antidotes for poisons. Of course, this is not something done in the mists of battle. They’re prepared before. She has basic knowledge of plants; this is for the use of her potions. Any plant or thing that is used for potions, Leita has knowledge of it: what it looks like, its properties for potions and other, how to use it in several ways, and where to find it. However, this knowledge is limited to the plants of her world: Hyrule.
- Leita’s magic is from Hyrule. The basic spells of which are done either by hand gestures or by words, chants, and prayers. The more complex and powerful spells require much more preparation and are more ritualistic than the usual evocations/invocations but still follows the same patterns of using hand gesture and voice. Some require ingredients, especially, the more complex types. Along with ingredients, hand gestures, and words is the consumption of their mana, their magical energy.
A novice mage or sorcerer of Hyrule usually starts with about 50 mana points (MP). As they gain more experience and training, this often grows up to 100 mana points. A well practiced and aged mage has an average of 150. The more advanced have an average of 200. The very greatest known mages and sorcerers of Hyrule have been known to have up to 250 and 300 mana points. The more one had the more spells they can cast without having to consume potions or wait to restore their mana. The more one has, the longer it takes to restore after being consumed without the aid of restorative potions. It also takes more potion to restore more mana. Spoiler: In depth Hyrule magic stuff
However, Hyrule is experiencing a new age of mages and sorcerers. They have discovered that a mage with pure mana can cast more spells than a mage with more unpurified mana. To purify one’s mana, it requires many hours of meditation and visualizations. The potions used to restore mana, only restores average mana that will then require more time of meditation to purify.
The next task in being a skilled mage or sorcerer is then practicing the focus and usage of one’s mana. Novice mages often leak a lot of mana when attempting to cast a spell. It often creates the spell but in a very poor form of it. Sometimes nothing will happen at all. The worst would be to do the spell incorrectly and have it backfire upon them. If the spell caster is focusing perfectly and channeling their mana perfectly, then the spell will often come out that of the highest quality. This can be extremely difficult when in the heat of battle with a hundred distractions and noises and chaos tossing around them.
Wands, staffs, rings, necklaces, chains, amulets, and charms of many forms can be used to aid a spell caster in channeling their mana and focusing their spell. If the magical tool is of a high quality it can considerably cut down the amount of mana normally required for the spell and also limit the need for hand gestures, though words are still often needed. Very, very few mages and sorcerers have been capable of casting without hand gesture or words. The ones that have attempted before were the ones that spells backfired on more often.
Leita is special not because of the amount of mana she contains. She holds about 170 mana points. It’s that her mana is of an extremely pure quality. She produces this high quality mana without much effort. She does not need to meditate to create it. Even when she drinks potions to restore her mana, the quality is unusually good for a restorative potion (though still not quite as amazing as her natural mana).
Not only is the quality of her mana astounding, but Leita’s ability to channel and focus is utterly perfect (most of the time). Her Deku staff and bone ring hones her abilities to even more amazing heights. She’s very talented. Her magic comes naturally to her. She’s known as a child prodigy, especially since she is one of the very few spell casters that can cast without hands or voice.
- The following spells will list mana points that Leita’s mana takes to suffice with and without her staff and ring.
Mana Points (MP): 170
Spoiler: Energy Energy Attack – Leita’s energy attack isn’t really much of a spell. It’s mana manifested, therefore does not require any words or hand gestures. It’s the gathering and shaping of her mana in her hands or staff. The color of it varies depending on each person. Leita’s is a very light pink when channeled through her hands. When it is channeled through her staff, it comes out of her emerald as a bright green. It does not harm those of holy and pure nature or innocent plant life and nature itself. It only damages the flesh of tainted and evil natured beings. The amount of mana required depends on how much power Leita wishes to pack into it. 10 MP could cause severe enough of a burn to the average humanoid to cause death if it hits vital areas. If concentrated into a beam, this can burn through normal humanoid flesh, tissue, and bone.
(Will take 5-10 more MP if she does it without the aid of her ring or staff and with mana from a restorative potion.) Bubble Shield – Like the energy attack, this is Leita’s mana manifested in a different form. Instead of gathering it in her hands, she gathers it in her solar plexus, one of her charka points. There she forms it into an oval shape and expands it outside of her body. The color of this manifestation is a transparent white. She can form shields around other people as well, it just requires much more of her focus. The amount of mana required depends on how strong she wishes her bubble shield to be. The more force applied from the outside in attempt to shatter the shield will require a certain amount of mana to oppose the attack. It blocks swords, hands, magic, and energy attacks from entering the white bubble. 10 MP blocks average attacks, from burly men with huge axes to arrows and average strength energy and magical attacks. The more MP she puts into her shields, the stronger they get. Mild: 10 MP Moderate: 50 MP Medium: 80 MP Strong: 100 MP Extreme: 150 MP Heroic: 170 MP
(Each would take 5-10 more MP if she does it without the aid of her ring or staff and with mana from a restorative potion.)
Spoiler: Defensive Dispel – Prayer: Teiryuu. This dispels other spells like Nayru’s Love. Spells that require word or hand gestures (or something similar to it). She must be within reach, normally, for it requires touching the object or manifestation of the magic to be dispelled. Leita can project this spell (very few can and it requires more focus) into her energy attack to cancel out another’s energy attack (or similar to). Thus, she can dispel from a distance, though unlike Nayru’s Love she must have good aim. It can also be used to break shields similar to her bubble shield. However, if the spell, magic, or shield is too strong it will not dispel it and she many be required to double the mana of the spell to produce a stronger dispelling. When she casts it, she can either speak the prayer or do the hand gesture for a quiet casting and then touch while speaking the prayer or after performing the hand gesture.

With ring/staff and potion: 10 Blinding Flash – Prayer: Masshiro. This is a defensive flash of very bright white light. It burns her enemy’s vision and leaves them temporarily blind. It keeps them stunned and blind for about one minute. The light comes from her hands or staff after she speaks the prayer or does the hand gesture. Often the gesture leaves off with a snap of her fingers where the white flash sparks into sight. It has a range of 50 ft (15.24 m) for blinding.

With ring/staff: 1
With potion: 5
With ring/staff and potion: 4 Healing – Prayer: Ateru. For this healing spell, Leita must make sure all bones and limbs are set in place before performing to make sure everything heals right. She must be able to touch them after praying or doing the hand gesture. Light green with glow from their bodies as the spell heals all of their injuries. Leita pays special attention during this spell, focusing on each injury as it heals. This ensures that she conserves mana, but mostly she wants to make sure everything heals properly and the spell helps attune her to her patient’s body. The amount of mana spent depends on the amount of damage done and how badly damaged. Mild: 5 MP Moderate: 15 MP Medium: 30 MP Severe: 75 MP Critical: 115 MP Extreme: 150 MP Heroic: 170 MP
(Each would take 10-15 more MP if she does it without the aid of her ring or staff and with mana from a restorative potion.) Nayru’s Love – Prayer: Suki Nayru. This is a shielding spell. It surrounds the person is a crystal or diamond-like shape. It’s a transparent light blue. While Leita or any other person is encased in this shield, they become temporarily invincible to any type of damage. It seems as if anything can pass through the “shield” and touch the person inside it, yet the person is completely unaffected by any kind of harmful touch both physical and magical. Leita can only cast this spell on one person at a time. It lasts for about three minutes, but she can double the mana placed in it to keep the spell afloat for longer. When she casts it, she can either speak the prayer or do the hand gesture for a quiet casting. It either forms silently from her solar plexus like the bubble shield, or she can gather it into her hands in the form of blue light and throw it at the person she wishes to shield. Once it strikes the person, it blossoms into the diamond form. The throw has nothing to do with her aim. As long as she is focusing and channeling the spell, it will follow its target like a locked on missile. However, while this spell is in affect, Leita cannot cast anymore spells until it is done.

With ring/staff and potion: 22 Farore's Wind – Prayer: Ibuki Farore, iki Farore. This is a teleportation spell. However, for Leita to teleport anywhere, she must first set up a designated place for return. She either says the ibuki Farore prayer or hand gesture, and a green glowing orb appears above her head and stays floating in mid air. This orb is the set return point. Then when she wants to return to this point, she must speak the iki Farore prayer or hand gesture. She can take as many people as she likes along with her, so long as everyone is connected by at least one person touching her. They all must be touching someone who is touching Leita, and so on and so forth. This teleport can take her back anywhere as long as it's within the same world/plane/dimension/etc as the designated return point.

Spoiler: Elemental Nayru’s Water – Prayer: Mizu Nayru. This is a summoning spell for water. As long as Leita has mana, she will never go thirsty. It gathers in her cupped hands, yet does not leak through her fingers. She can move the bubble of water she summons through the air until she wishes to release it. Leita can also channel this through her staff and release a spray of water from the tip of it. She can also choose to simple manipulate bodies of water nearby. The more water she manipulates the more mana is required. When she casts it, she can either speak the prayer or do the hand gesture for a quiet casting. It has a range of 50 ft (15.24 m).

With potion: 15
With ring/staff and potion: 10 Farore's Love – Prayer: Suki Farore. This spell makes plants grow at a fast rate and allows for Leita to have control over them. She often carries Deku seeds with her for this spell that hatch big Deku Babas, plants with large clam-like heads with the tendency to lunge a bite at others. The Babas will act according to Leita’s will, so they will not attack her. In fact, they seem naturally protective of her whenever she plants them. She also carries vine seeds that can aid her in binding down an enemy. She can use it on plants in her immediate environment and forces their limbs to grow and move for her. Leita does not always have to throw these seeds to the ground for them to start growing. Often she’ll throw a vine seed at an enemy. It’ll sprout in midair and wrap around them like a thrown net. When she casts it, she can either speak the prayer or do the hand gesture for a quiet casting. Can affect all plants within 50 ft (15.24 m) of her.
MP: 10
With ring/staff: 5
With potion: 25
With ring/staff and potion: 15 Din’s Fire – Prayer: Kasai Din. This is another more aggressive spell. Leita only knows it because it is one of the most basic of fire spells. During the speaking of the prayer or performing the hand gesture, the spell is focused in her solar plexus much like her bubble shield. When it expands outside of her body, at the end of the prayer, it creates a dome wall of fire that bursts out around her. However, she can also concentrate the spell to burst out her fist. The spell is best used when completely surrounded by foes. Of course, Leita never uses this spell, ever, in fear of killing someone. It has a range-burst of 50 ft (15.24 m). She can also choose to use this spell to command fire that's nearby and within 50 ft of herself. The more fire she manipulated the more mana is required.

With potion: 20
With ring/staff and potion: 15 Wind Tunnel – Prayer: Kaze suru. Leita summons a small twister to suck her enemies up and rip them to shreds. Of course, Leita would never let her spell go as far as that. It is capable of slashing her foes with razor sharp winds within the swirling vortex of air. Leita only uses it to toss her enemies away from her or perhaps frighten them away with only a few cuts. When she casts it, she can either speak the prayer or do the hand gesture for a quiet casting. It lasts for about three minutes and she can cancel the spell whenever she wishes. It has a limited range of 50 ft (15.24 m).
MP: 15
With ring/staff: 10
With potion: 35
With ring/staff and potion: 25 Storm/Lightning Summon – Chant: Inazuma inabikari. This spell requires some casting time to summon storm clouds and rain to her. For this, she must chant the prayer over and over for the clouds to build and gather. It goes faster if she also does the hand gestures over and over with the chant, but either done repeatedly will eventually have the same affect on the open sky. After cast, it allows her to command the storm’s lightning. It will, at her request, strike down upon any target she desires (command prayer: sabaki). It’s a rather aggressive spell that Leita does not like using very often if at all. It lasts for as long as she wishes, but requires much focus. So Leita is often unable to cast other spells while directing this one. She can cast simpler spells, but others that require more focus and attention she will be unable to perform. If she wishes to strike someone with lightning they must be within 50 ft (15.24 m) of her.

With potion: 37
With ring/staff and potion: 27 Darkness – Prayer: Ankoku. This casts darkness within an area of 50 ft (15.24 m). This spell lasts for five minutes until it dissipates. Without light, no one can see through this dome of black until outside its area. Leita can gather the spell up in a black orb which she can pitch and land in the middle of enemies.

With ring/staff: 5
With potion: 16
With ring/staff and potion: 13 Fairy Lights - Prayer: Akarui choochoo. This spell creates little floating lights in the shape of butterflies and in various different colors of the rainbow. The lights can flutter in an area of 50 ft or be more condensed into a smaller area around Leita. It takes more concentration for Leita to do this spell with the spoken prayer only. It works better with the hand gesture, which ends in a gathering of rainbow lights in her hands which spring out into her surroundings like scattered leaves. The hand gesture also makes projects the spell easier. Leita can gather a multi-colored ball of light in her hands and throw it to a different area, where the spell will go off. They last for a half hour.

Spoiler: Sacred and Holy Din’s Sacred Fire – Prayer: Kasai sei naru Din. Leita can conjure a stream of white flames from an extended palm or from the tip of her staff. This fire never burns the innocent. It only eats the flesh of those with wicked intentions. When it touches the skin of those who are innocent comrades, it blesses them with warm strength, courage, and confidence. It soothes away unneeded fears and clears the mind, helping them to become more focused and tranquil. When it touches victims of evil magic it clears away their chaotic feelings and brings them feelings of peace and safety. When it burns those of evil intent, it keeps eating the flesh away until they find a way to counter or dispel it. It cannot be put out by water or smothered away. When she casts it, she can either speak the prayer and extend her hand or staff or do the hand gesture for a quiet casting and then extend her hand or staff. It had a limited range of 5-10 ft (1.5-3 m).

With ring/staff and potion: 38 Sacred Darkness – Prayer: Kami kagi. This casts supernatural darkness within an area of 50 ft (15.24 m). This spell lasts for ten minutes until it dissipates. Natural and average light sources cannot penetrate this dome of darkness. Not only does it require magical light, but it must be holy and powerful magical light to penetrate through this darkness. Any other normal sights, such as infrared or otherwise will not be able to see through it. She can gather it in an orb and throw the spell just like in her normal Darkness spell.

With ring/staff and potion: 38 Blessing - This is more of a holy incantation Leita uses to bless water or salt for ritual purposes. However, Leita can use holy water to bless weapons and other items as well. This is more of a blessing call to her goddesses, so it takes no mana to cast.
Incantation: “I exorcise thee, ‘O creature of [water or earth], of all negativity both seen and unseen and bless thee in the name of the Three.” Magic Circle - Leita can cast a holy circle almost anywhere. It protects and keeps evil magic and creatures outside, creating a safe haven within. It also helps Leita cast more complicated spells once she has a sacred space created, usually spells of holy natures. Like the blessing spell, this takes no mana for Leita to cast. She is merely a channel for the power of her goddesses.
To cast, she must stand and point with her finger, and turn around three times to trace where the circle is being cast.
Incantation: “I conjure thee, by infinite power; a circle now around us stands. I trace the path between the words, a boundary line of gods and man. Once around I trace the path. Twice it turns into a flame. Three times around, a wall of fire, within whose realm we will remain. This ground is sacred, consecrated by the power of earth and air. We conjure fire to cleanse our hearts and waters deep to guard us here. In the name of Farore who watches, in the name of Din who stands, this circle bright is bound around us while Nayru works Her mighty plan. As above, from crown of heaven, now below it is revealed. Magic circle, ‘O crystal fortress, by my words your power is sealed. Blessed be.” Spoiler: Illusion Maya Artifice – Prayer: Maya nisemono. This is an illusion spell. It’s like a hologram and is not specific to a single target. Everyone present sees the images this spell can create. Leita often uses it to distract and agitate others. It can be used in other strategic plans for very convincing tricks. She can also do a sort of "landscape" affect, making others look as if they are standing in a desert or a forest. She can use it to make herself look like someone else or disguise a friend, keep something hidden from sight. It relies absolutely on her focus and concentration. The illusion lasts for as long as Leita is concentrating upon it. It requires all of her attention, so the moment she loses focus is the exact moment the illusion vanishes. So Leita cannot be doing much else than meditating upon the spell. She can walk around and talk, though she’ll seem deep in thought and very distracted to others and will be unlike to form complete and coherent sentences. When she casts it, she can either speak the prayer or do the hand gesture for a quiet casting. Then all that is required is her concentration. She can pick and choose which people the spell affects and does not affect, or she could do the simpler mass-affecting illusion, which takes less concentration. She can also pull her illusions within a certain range, so if any stand outside of that range, they will not see the illusion that those who are standing within it do. Leita can only create these illusions for as far as she can see. These illusions can affect all the senses: sight, hearing, taste, touch, and smell.

With potion: 15
With ring/staff and potion: 10 Insipid Artifice – Prayer: Akite darui nisemono. It’s very similar to Maya Artifice. It’s a more subtle yet powerful illusion, but more like an enchantment, for once it is cast it does not require Leita’s constant attention. It makes the person she casts it upon seem as plain and boring as stone. They blend in with their surroundings. They go unnoticed very easily. In fact, it can be a nearly impossible task to get someone to notice them. Leita will always be able to notice those she casts this spell on. She can also cast it on more than one person. It goes into affect once she speaks the prayer or does the hand gesture and either touch them with a hand or, with more focus, directs the spell across a room if needed. However, if she casts it on more than one person, they will not be able to notice each other unless they are touching.
Once Leita or someone under this spell attacks or touches someone, the enchantment will break on them and them alone. All others under this same spell will remain so.

With ring/staff and potion: 10 Ghost Sound – Prayer: Nisemono oto. Leita can make fake sounds or voices within 50 ft (15.24 m). These sounds are heard by everyone within that area. As long as she can remember a voice of a person, she can mimic that voice. She can also speak to others this way if, for whatever the reason, she is unable to speak herself. Each sound costs the same amount of mana as listed below and requires her complete attention to cast.

Strengths:- The most obvious of Leita’s strengths is her high quality mana and her excellence in spell casting. The two paired together allows for her to conserve a lot of mana and cast more spells without needing to restore her mana with potion. Her staff and ring added to this makes casting a breeze for her. She’s learned how to cast in the heat of battle, to remain focused so that her spells are performed with the best quality. Leita gained the title as a high priestess for these very reasons. She’s young but her talent is that of an old mage’s. She’s a very well known child prodigy of the mages.
- Leita is able to cast without speaking prayers or doing hand gestures. She has not learned how to do this consciously just yet. If she tried to, nothing happens. It only shows when in the heat of battle, when she’s absolutely desperate and pushed to the edge by the pressure. Often she simply thinks the prayer or pictures the hand gesture and the way they make her feel while she’s doing the spell. By doing this within the second, under all present pressure, she casts the spell without speaking or gesturing.
- Leita’s potions and alchemy always is of the highest quality. She is an expert at brewing and improving already created potions. Leita also likes to play around with her chemistry set on her free time, creating new potions, tinkering with old ones, improving and changing them. It’s something of a hobby of hers.
- Given time to prepare and plan, Leita can do even more astounding feats with her magic and potions. She is not limited to the spells and potions prepared above. Those are just the ones ready for regular days and the unexpected. If she is aware of an approaching attack, given a few days to prepare, Leita can do much more than what is listed above. She really is a young genius. Clever when she must be.
- Leita performs best within a party. She acts mostly as the group’s defense (especially from other magic) and as their very gifted medic. It’s within her very nature to protect and heal others.
- Her sixth magical sense was developed during her training in the mage guilds. Thus, she is often able to sense when something is being cloaked with magic from sight. She is also able to feel the presence and auras of others. This aids in alerting her to possible danger. Leita was also taught to suppress her presence/aura into her environment. Forcing it to blend in. She has the ability to study, analyze, a spell while it is being performed and being able to understand the basic structure of it rather quickly. Given more time she can develop an even deeper understanding of the spell’s nature—its gears, everything that makes that spell tick. In understanding the spell, she is able to plan a counter to it—if given enough time.
- Due to her long elf-like ears, she has sharp hearing. Her hearing is very advanced compared to normal beings, such as humans. She can focus on certain sounds, pick up strange and usually unnoticeable noises, and then fade out of focus as to not damage her ears should there be a sudden din.
Weaknesses:- Leita’s very nature to heal and protect others is often her very greatest weakness. She can’t seem to bring herself to hurt anyone. Leita is only able to bring herself to hurt even the foulest of foes when those around her are in danger. If Leita herself is the only person in danger, she has much difficultly in hurting anyone to save herself. She has made some progress in this, and is able to find the will to defend herself against those she knows to be real demons. Yet, she is still so hesitant that her one moment of hesitation is enough to doom her. It is best for Leita to be a part of a group because she is often unable to do the deed of shedding blood.
- She has a rather bad anxiety issue. In certain situations which she is extremely sensitive to can cause her to have panic attacks. In these attacks her mind goes utterly blank because of fear. Then she is unable to even think of a spell. She can’t seem to remember the prayers and hand gestures that could save her from the situation. Leita can have a bad tendency to freeze up.
- Leita is a small person. She has really no strength that can do much against anyone, even if she were to apply it. She doesn’t really know anything about swords and blades and other weapons of that sort. She doesn’t know how to defend herself without magic. If that option is taken away from Leita, then she would become absolutely helpless.
- Though her sharp hearing is a strength, it is also a weakness. If a very loud noise were to occur while Leita is listening so intently, honing her ears, it will hurt her sensitive ears, causing her to become disarmed and stunned for a rather long time. She cannot block out this kind of pain. It could even damage her ears permanently.
Personality: Leita is a very sweet and gentle soul. It doesn’t take long to know this about her. It is the very first impression that others receive. It’s not difficult to see with the visual aid of her physical appearance. Her soul and body are in harmony with each other. She’s a very beautiful person inside and out.
Leita is an emotional and sensitive being. She is easily moved to tears. She feels very strongly and is also very perceptive about the feelings of other’s. This is also part of what makes her so breakable. She feels so much. She is easily hurt. But it also motivates her kindness and sweet quality. Leita can’t stand seeing others in pain. It makes her want to do all that she can to ease their suffering. She careful not to offend others and wants to make them feel respected and comfortable. Leita is so concerned with the wellness of others that she always places their needs above her own. She has a serious case of martyrdom. Leita will always willingly offer herself in the place of another’s suffering if she can. She would rather bear it for them than watch them do it. Leita would give herself up for a complete and utter stranger.
Despite being sensitive and fragile, Leita can have an amazing will. When others are in danger she will do everything within her power to protect them. She never likes seeing a life be taken. It’s practically impossible for her to kill anyone. Much of her spells are defenses that leave her attackers alive. The few offensive spells she has are not used often if at all. Leita will only use them in dire situations—when she absolutely must. She will do all that she can as long as it is not killing. In this sense, she has become immensely brave. Leita is a strange person, for she seems incapable of hate or anger. Those emotions never appear in her. Instead, she is often only afraid or hurt or disappointed.
Her innocence does not mean ignorance. Though timid and often unsure of herself, Leita is not weak minded. She is a thoughtful person. Though still a young woman, she is mature and aware of the reality of the world she lives in. She does prefer to have an optimistic view and would rather like to keep trusting others than pushing them away in fear. She’s a quiet girl, very shy around strangers and people she is not yet familiar with. Leita tends to be very polite at all times, very mindful about her actions and words around others. Her hobbies are potion making, magic studies, gardening, and art. When she’s not busy with her high priestess duties, she often likes to draw. Leita enjoys nature and restful times in it. She also gardens and likes to watch her plants grow up strong and healthy. She enjoys growing her own herbs for her potions and spell ingredients.
Leita doesn’t pay too much attention to her appearance, but still likes to take care of herself. She likes to keep her hair healthy and brushed, her skin washed and smooth, her clothes clean and reasonable. This is to say that she’s not very “girly” in the sense that she is not preoccupied or worried about her physical appearance. She is completely unaware of her beauty despite how often others might tell her of it. Leita is far too nervous and shy to ever wear clothing that shows too much of her body. She does like sundresses that are comfortable and pleasing to her. Though, she doesn’t often wear very feminine things. Just average tunics and leggings that fit her size. No make-up or jewelry.
She loves children. It seems they are the only kind of people she is truly comfortable around without having to be familiar with. Leita is wonderful with younger children. She knows how to talk and play with them.
Leita Serwen has an enormous heart, obvious due to her sensitivity, warmth, compassion, and willingness to love. It is obvious that she would never, ever, have negative intentions. She dislikes violence of all kinds, but will fight when she absolutely must. This girl will never kill another intentionally and is very careful to not do so accidentally either. This is her innocence. Her pure nature. With this comes the presence of a very breakable quality. Unfortunately, this seems to attract predators of several kinds to her.
This is often how Leita finds herself in the situations that cause her anxiety attacks. It seems as if all that she fears easily finds her. Leita has been a victim of rape several times in her past and it only adds more to her fragileness. Her predators can feel it on her as well. That’s how they know she’ll be easy. It’s happened before and it has made her very vulnerable. It’s because of this that she has a very bad instinct to simply freeze up and go some place else in her mind. Not that all of the predators she attracts are sexual ones. Anyone else who tends to have a predator-like quality, in that they feed upon the pain and misery of others, are attracted to her. They sense her weakness, like any predator does.
However, she has been making a lot of progress against this habit. With the support of her friends and loved ones, especially that of Rontu Nyzento, she has been able to gain the courage to fight back more. To defend herself and not just freeze up. It is still difficult for her to do, but there is definitely progress. Leita has been healing in the presence of these people. Before, she was even more timid and meek. Even more afraid of the world than now. Her friends used to nickname her “rabbit” and “mouse” due to her once skittish nature. She has gained a lot more courage and confidence in herself. Though still very afraid, Leita wants to trust. She wants to stop being so afraid and helpless. She desires very greatly to change this about herself. Theme Song(s):
