Appearance:
Head – Kira’s most alluring features are her deep blue eyes and olive toned skin. It’s not precisely tan, just not fair or fragile against the rays of the sun. This being due to her wood elf blood. Her features are obviously feminine, though she never seems to lean toward feminine things. As her hair is a short cut like some males, layered and often tossed in slight disarray for she does not often brush her hair for it to remain very tame. The part in her hair is often crooked, to the side and not right down the middle and never perfectly straight. Her bangs often fall into her face from the left side (her right) of the part. She has always kept it short for battle. Kira views long hair as a vulnerability in a fight. After so long of keeping short hair, she likes it and has no desire to grow her hair out even if she weren’t a fighter. It’s the darker shade of chocolate brown and compliments her skin tone well.

Her facial structure is a beautiful feminine heart shaped jaw. Her short hair goes well with her bone structure. She has beautifully shaped lips, soft and feminine, which often makes her mischievous smile quite charming and infectious. Her nose is somewhat small and delicate, neither turning up or down. Her eyes are of average shape and size, and her brows full yet not bushy or course of hair. Her ears are a slight point to them, due to her wood elf blood.
Body – Kira’s frame is more muscular than the average dainty female’s, though not bulky or unattractive. Her limbs are strong, yet lean and slender, like a cat’s. As is the rest of her body toned and undoubtedly attractive in its own right. She has broad shoulders, yet still feminine, just broadly set for a woman’s. Added with her hips, her body is generously curvy and hourglass-shaped, a fine balance of curve and slender toned muscle. Her breasts are of an average size, neither too small nor particularly big. They fit her proportions alluringly.

She has a set of scars scattered over her body from fights and war. Kira’s body is not a soft one. Hers is hardened with muscle and callous from wearing her armor. Her hands are strong and rough from all the years and hours of practice wielding her sword. Her body is one that has seen much action for her young age. It is also less hairy than a female human’s body, due to elf blood.
Clothing – When not prepared for travel and/or battle, Kira’s outfit is very simple. Often dull and boring colored tunics, preferably sleeveless, such as shades of brown and tan leathers with a belt around the waist and simple dark cloth leggings and boots. Kira doesn’t seem to understand much of the concept of fashion. She often keeps a spare of these with her when she travels in her armor. She also keeps a forest green traveler’s cloak.

No matter what, she always wears a silver chain around her neck with an emerald pendent set in beaten silver coin, given to her by her lover, Kai Awai.

Armor: During times of war and conflict she wears dark blue armor that covers the majority her body making her look as the knight she is. She wears dark steel chain mail and wool with tight black spandex pants and shirt underneath.

The armor was a gift from her friend and princess of the wood elves. Kira had a hard time accepting such a present, for it is quite priceless. The armor is lighter than is natural. It was forged from steel and fire of Otius earth dragons. The armor includes the plates (no helmet) and chain mail shirt and leggings. The tight yet flexible leggings and shirt for underneath the wool and steel came with the gift, though made by the gifted hands of ancient wood elves. The sleeves reach out and are one with the fingerless gloves that cling to her hands. On the gauntlets and other plates are ancient runes carved out of richly colored emeralds. It shaped specifically for her womanly curves and size.

Metal that comes from Sekin earth dragons is the best material one could ever wish to create armor and weapons out of. Their craftsmanship is almost other worldly. It is unaffected by normal fire and heat, only the fire similar to the dragons of Sekin can be used to bend and shape the armor. It takes metal of an equal caliber to ever have a chance at denting the dragon metal.
Weapon(s):
Nachi – An arming sword with a beautiful, sapphire-blue hilt with swirling emerald green designs carved into her. This is followed by a few sapphire and emerald stones set in with the designs. Wrapped around the hilt of the blade is a beautiful, small, white lacy ribbon. This was sentimental gift from a former knight, now mercenary, named Aidan. All together she is 3’ 2” (97 cm) long. The blade is 2’ 6” (76 cm) long and about three inches wide. The hilt is eight inches (20 cm) long.

She is strapped on Kira’s back most of the time. The sheath is the same dark blue as her armor and encrusted with sapphire stones and emerald runes and swirling designs. Yet it designed as two separate plates buttoned and clipped together at the seams. This is so Kira can quickly yank her sword free from the back through the buttons.

Nachi came with the armor Elzira Silverleaf gave to Kira. She was crafted by the same earth dragons who made the armor. Thus she is unaffected by normal fire and heat, only the fire similar to the dragons of Sekin can be used to bend and shape her. Since Kira has owned the sword she has never needed to be sharpened. She is capable of cutting swords of a lesser material like chopping wood or slicing butter.

Kira named her Nachi, a combination of two Elohim goddess’ names: Nasake and Daichi, because of the blue and green coloring. Blue belonging to Nasake, the goddess of love, emotions, and water. Green belonging to Daichi, the goddess of fertility, strength, and earth.

Knife – She also has a shorter knife, a blade of nine inches long and a six inch hilt with a special black grip. This knife is usually strapped to the small of her back, mostly hidden from sight.

Skills/Magic:

• Kira, due to her wood elf blood, can often hear the whispering voices of trees and animals. They can often aid her in tracking other people.

Kasou (air/wind/aerokinesis) (Rank: IV) – Kira has discovered a mysterious ability to control the movement of air, which can include various gases. Yet she is not very practiced with it. She can use it to fly, increase her speed, and often wield her weapons without the use of her hands. Almost as her own kind of telekinesis. She can send powerful gusts to knock and batter her enemies around and create razor winds, powerful enough to rip them to shreds. She also can empower her blade's sharpness with the power of her wind, enabling her to cut through and deeper into even stronger materials when coupled with the dragon steel of Nachi. She decided to regard it as her “Kasou” named after the Elohim god of air, intelligence, and imagination.

However, Kira has just barely become consciously aware of her magic. She’s just a baby in wind magic. She is at the tip of the iceberg with this ability. Her limits remain unknown.

It takes physical energy (PEP) to use this ability. Kira’s endurance is weak. She has the potential to reach higher levels of energy and endurance. She simply requires more practice, experience, and a good teacher to get a better handle of it. If Kira uses too much of her energy she may faint or even die depending on how much was used and how quickly. Using all of her 100 PEP at once could nearly kill her. How much PEP she uses reflexes the strength of her wind, the push behind the particles, and how much wind she is able to use at once.
Strengths:

• Many benefits are hers due to her wood elf blood. Her hearing is very advanced compared to normal beings, such as humans. She can focus on certain sounds, pick up strange and usually unnoticeable noises, and then fade out of focus as to not damage her ears should there be a sudden din. This makes it nearly impossible for others to sneak up on her. Kira’s eye sight is also perfect, perhaps better, than any average human’s. Thus her aim is wonderful and darkness not as difficult to see through, though it is still hindering in ways.
  
  
• Her good hearing can aid her in dark settings, and she was taught to hunt at the night on a new moon by the wood elves. She has had an additional year or so of training by the Sheikah of Hyrule to fight in the dark. Kira could manage fairly well for a while on her own ears, but she would still be in danger of trickery in such a situation. She needs more practice and training in this area.
  
  
• Her ability to hear the voices of nature aids her in tracking enemies in natural settings, mostly outside of cities, such as forests, swamps, mountains. She is in her element when in nature. It would be best for her enemies to never be caught in it with her. The voices can also warn her when danger is near. The wood elves taught her much about tracking, hunting, and surviving off the raw fruits of nature. They taught her how to listen to the trees, the grass, and the animals. Enough for her to easily track other people if her goals press her to. Not only is this a good offensive, but if she should need to flee, Kira is easily able to lose pursuers in the forest.
  
  
• Though a lot more comfortable in nature, Kira’s time in the city of Delu, the dark elf capital of Delusuu, taught her more about being street smart. How to dance around the buildings, streets, and alleyways to lose the enemy or lure them into a trap.
  
  
• Her armor is a wonderful defense for her body, since it is not often she runs into those who wield blades superior to the average steel. It also protects her from average fire attacks. It would take quite a powerful and magical blast of flame to heat the metal of her armor and chain mail at all. Though it has no resistance to cold and ice attacks, it also does not increase any damage done to her in these attacks. The armor is light, and thus does not hinder her speed as much as normal armor does. The plating is so intricate that it is also rather flexible for armor.
  
  
• Though her speed is not bad in the armor, Kira is still faster without it on. While still flexible, Kira is still more flexible and agile without it. Her wood elf blood makes her rather swift and graceful. Her strength is also impressive, and more of her human attributes. Though very strong for a woman, she could over power some weaker men; in the world of warriors it is not hard to find others stronger than she.
  
  
• Her newly found air magic has only added more to her strength as a warrior. Often she can block with wind and attack with it. Air is also hard to run short of. It’s always around her for her use. Her air magic also aids her against fire users. For fire feeds on air, she can take it away from the hungry flames and smother them.
  
  
• Her skills in swordplay are more than enough to have earned her title as the captain of a royal guard. She started by teaching herself at a young age, and then when she went to live with the wood elves, they taught her even more on the subject. She was also taught to wield a bow. Though, her true talent lies within her sword. Her knowledge increased, when she went to live in the cruel world of the dark elves, where she met a talented drow and a fast friend. Rontu Nyzento taught her more about swordplay that the wood elves had little time to show her. He also taught her how to use a crossbow. Her skills were then honed with experience in numerous fights, and then battles and war. After the wars were over, she never slacked off. Kira continued her training in Hyrule with the Hylians, Gerudos, and Sheikah as new mentors.

Weaknesses:

• Though her sharp hearing is a strength, it is also a weakness. If a very loud noise were to occur while Kira is listening so intently, honing her ears, it will hurt her sensitive ears, causing her to become disarmed and stunned for a rather long time. It could even damage her ears permanently.
  
  
• Her armor is only magical to an extent. It doesn’t protect her from any other magic besides fire magic. Kira’s defenses against magic are extremely limited. She only has her armor and her wind magic to counter with, in which could be rendered useless against the various other types of magic. She has no helmet, thus her head is left as a target for a quick death. It does make Kira somewhat slower and less flexible than she could be without it.
  
  
• Her air magic is still hardly developed. She’s still learning to control it and since it is new to her body, she is easily drained of energy when she uses it. Her most powerful offensive attacks that require a lot of energy and focus to create, drain her the most to use. Kira has not yet earned the endurance to use this ability for very long or very strenuously. Should she exert herself too much, Kira will grow fatigued. This affects her body as well as her mind. She will not be able to be as swift or agile. Her focus will be shot, unable to aim as well, dexterity damaged. The more she continues to use Kasou, the more fatigued she will become and the more her abilities and skills will be affected. She would be at her weakest. In such a state, there wouldn’t be much that could save her from her enemy.
  
  
• Though Kira is very talented, skilled, and experienced in battle, she is still young. Older and more experienced fighters could put her at a disadvantage.

Personality: Kira’s most often first impression is that of an independent and confident woman. Especially if seen in her armor. She paints the fine image of a strong and intelligent captain and knight. Though still rather young, others often can’t help but trust her confidence. Of course, this could be seen as overconfidence by some (it depends on the person studying her). Not quite arrogance, just the pride of someone young who does not yet understand her limits. However, this is not quite the case for Kira. She understands her limits completely. It’s just that she prefers to look confident to others. It can be used as a convincing bluff or as encouragement and comfort for those that follow her. Kira has come to know that it is extremely important to remain calm and confident even in dire situations, especially when leading others. They look to her for direction, and she must give it to them without fear to keep them from panicking as well.

It doesn’t have much to do with her ego that she does this. It’s simply for function and efficiency. Kira does not trick herself into believing she can do more than she can. She is not an egotistical person. Underneath her face of confidence are many doubts and concerns as she goes about trying to survive. She simply does not let them show, except for the times in which she is alone. Thus, Kira is wonderful at bluffs and lies, though she really prefers to never lie more than she has to. She has a great respect for honesty.

In fact, she is often extremely blunt with others. She’s purely honest when the situation can allow for it. Kira says exactly what is on her mind. She often tires of her captain’s face she must wear so much. She takes it off whenever she can and becomes an honest and playful person. Laughing is one of her favorite things to do on her free time. She’s clever and often mischievous. She has no qualms with tricking others when it is entirely harmless. Whether to be playful or to help a resistant person take a step in the right direction.

Kira is a very compassionate person and an extreme humanitarian. She likes to help people. She can’t help it. It’s nearly impulse for her to do it. Her cautious friend, Rontu Nyzento, often tells her that her compassion will be the death of her. She may go into a situation knowing that she is being tricked, but will do it anyway in attempt to aid the cunning individual in a different way. Others have called her a fool for it. It’s as if she never learns. Yet, it’s never that she forgets, just that she doesn’t care. She never lets it corrupt her innocence and trust in people. She is extremely stubborn about helping others.

Kira clings strongly to her belief that corrupted and so called evil persons can change. Though, she does see it when they are truly too far gone to be saved. She has seen too much of the world to trick herself into believing that every one of them can be saved from themselves. She has a curious ability to truly see others and judge them in these ways. Kira has a very strong sense of right and wrong and justice. Yet she understands that people make mistakes that often lead them down the wrong path. She has knack for finding the persons that can be salvaged. When faced with the ones that can’t, she will kill them—mercifully— and only to stop them from hurting more people.

Currently, Kira does have a darker side these days. Ever since her younger brother, Tarrowco, was slain in a war about two years ago, she has felt as if half of her heart is missing. She was very close to her brother. They were often told that they should have been born as twins. They acted like twins. One of her friends even claimed that if Tarrowco had not been born her brother that they would have been lovers. Elzira Silverleaf said that they were soul mates still, but born as brother and sister. Two years have passed yet her pain of loss has never lessened. Kira likes to keep busy as much as she can to keep her thoughts from dwelling on the gaping emptiness where her brother once was. At times the emotional pain is so great that she cannot breathe well, as if she has lost the location of her lungs. It’s like there was a hole punched through her chest the moment he died. The edges of this wound ach and fester whenever she is alone and thinks too much about him.

She does well in keeping her pain to herself. She does not want to burden others with showing all her grief in front of them. If she did, she would have a tortured expression on her face. Hardly the face for a captain to wear. Besides, she knows there is nothing that they can do for her. This is simply how it is to lose such an important person in one’s life. Kira is determined to survive it. Though, she is starting to wonder if she will ever stop hurting. She considers that it may be like this for her entire life. That it may never fade and heal. She accepts that possibility and is determined to live through it anyway. It has made her increasingly protective of her friends and knights of her guard. Kira can’t stand the thought of losing them. It would punch more aching holes through her. She is not sure if she can survive more of the same. One is already so much.

Kira’s anger does not often appear without good reason. She’s so easy going that it’s rather rare. She often doesn’t care what insults strangers could hurl at her for whatever reason. She’d be likely to just roll her eyes and move on. Why waste her time on them? She can have a firm and argumentative tone, but it’s not often true anger. Just frustration. Though she has a stubborn streak in her that at times can make her a little less flexible for resolution.

Due to her wood elf side and her comfortable ease with nature, Kira is very respectful of her surroundings. She prefers to not cut down trees if she can help it. If she must, she asks the tree first (you’d be surprised that many trees are comfortable with this sacrifice). It makes her very uneasy to witness a tree being “murdered” without consent by others. It’s hard for her to ignore the whispering cries of their voices. She is somewhat religious, having learned of the Elohim gods and goddesses from the wood elves. The religion is set in nature, which is where Kira finds her spirituality. She has named her weapons and magic after them.

She is devoted to her queen, Zelda Nohansen of Hyrule, not because she is queen, but because she is her friend. She agreed to be part of her guard, the captain of it, because she wanted to help Zelda in protecting Hyrule. She views it as team work of friends. They both want to protect their home. Kira is not bound by any formalities. She would never stand for such a thing, and she trusts Zelda to never try to bind her in that way. They work very smoothly together with perfect trust.

Kira is easily sociable and definitely not shy. She strikes up conversation easily enough. She has a warm, charming, and welcoming presence, encouraging to the more timid persons. It’s very easy for others to feel at ease around her. She’s kind and has a big, though somewhat broken, heart. She never lets her pain keep her from living life and connecting with other people. In fact, it’s a lovely distraction from it. She loves lighthearted celebration and laughter. Kira doesn’t often take herself too seriously. She can laugh at herself. She doesn’t care what other people think of her. If she did, she would have grown out her hair a long time ago. She doesn’t care about being beautiful or living up to the expectations of others.

Kira has always thought for herself and never let anyone do her thinking for her. She is an explorer and likes to see everything for herself than second hand from another’s words. She only trusts her witnessing self. Not that others are lying or wrong in their perception. She believes that every perception is different. So she is determined to see it for herself before she makes a judgment. She figured out the shoulds and shouldn’ts for herself. Kira basically raised herself and her brother. It is the foundation of her complete independence (though her singular dependency was the emotional one of her brother). She lives life the way she wants to and apologizes to no one for it. Kira refuses to be tamed and controlled. She hates it, when others try to bind her down. She is a free spirit and would die in captivity. She would rather die.

It is in this way, free in mind, heart, and soul, that Kira has become a very beautiful person. She is an individual, truly. Stunning and innocent in spirit. It shines out through her deep blue eyes and charming smirk. Though many pass her by none the wiser, for they weren’t paying enough attention to see it.
