Just wondering if anyone has ever made an attempt at crafting some of links weapons or apparel.
I realize that a full metal version of the master sword from
OOT and
TP can be purchased online, also noted that you can purchase a version of his shield from both games, although they are half the size they should be.
I have found pictures online of what look quite a bit like links bow, but it appears to be made out of paper or plaster.
What i refer to is an exact replica, a full size fully functional bow with all the trimming from
TP. Or perhaps a full size shield that is properly painted.
I've been in the antique restoration business for 10 years now. I recently came across an old bow. In its current configuration it looks nothing like the fairy bow, but with some woodwork and time it could look exactly like and work exactly like links bow.
I wonder if anyone would purchase such a thing..... would you?
The more i think about it the more i realize that i have quite a few things that could easily be restored into a Zeldaesque fashon.
Keep in mind that I'm not talking about making toys, nor am i refering to cobbling together some pile of junk for fun. I have a large wood working shop and 10 years experience.
