Does anyone know how to get to the desert colossus without the lens of truth?

You need it, dude. There isn't a way.

yea I always wondered if you could memorize the path way exactly and go w/o it...

Anyways, it's a good idea just to use the Lens of Truth, or you could just go ahead and complete the Shadow Temple before moving on to the Desert Colossus.

The Silent Assassin does it without getting the Lens Of Truth. Takes too much time for a speed run. You could always download the video for the particular segment and follow it accordingly.

thats kind of funny I thought of his speed runs when pondering, the lens of truth isn't required obviously, but I was un sure if maybe the path became available only when you see the ghost or not if you know what I meen.

It would be extremly difficult to do, but possible.............

I know someone who's done it so apparently it's possible, but I don't see why you would do it, it just makes getting there a pain.

I downloaded it... Cant run it though... oh well sounds cool

Hah! I actually did that once! It's not too too hard once you figure out the sand patterns and such you have to follow, but it takes quite a while. The reason I did it was because I was glitch-hunting and trying to get to the Gerudo Fortress as Young Link. I got to the river of sand and I heard there was some trick to get across at the corners of the river, but it was extremely frustrating and difficult, so I didn't make it.
I also tried once to fight Bongo Bongo as Young Link by using Farore's Wind, but the stupid gaps in that room are to big to get across without using Hover Boots.

It's really hard, without the Len's of Truth.

Why, don't you have the Len's of Truth in Oot?

I've tried doing the treck without the lens of truth, and believe me it is hard. You definetly need the lens,it makes it 10 times easier to complete.
