Re: Familial Hunt (Zorolo)
Monroe's eyes looked at the man's and he smiled a little bit. "Welcome, welcome, and what brings you here?"
The blonde haired man looked at the warrior and narrowed his eyes. "Was it you who gave her that sword? She's forbidden to have a sword, boy. Who are you to give her one?" the father asked in a stern tone. Monroe merely laughed and finished eating his sandwich.
"And who are you to say who can and who cannot have a weapon? After all, you and that little kid you brought with you have swords. Why can't she? After all, she's got her freedom."
"She's my daughter," the hunter commented as he reached for the handle of his sword. "I'm here to free her from her demon, but if you have given her a sword, then you've made that harder. I guess I'll need to deal with you first," he stated as he stepped forwards.
In a flash of light, the sword had been stopped in the tips of Monroe's gloved fingers. He smiled at the man and looked at Elea. "Get out of here. I'll deal with Mr. Happy here. I won't let him harm you, Elea."
The warrior pulled quickly and jerked his sword from the Quincy's hand and rushed at Elea. "I won't let you get away demon!" he commented, moving quickly towards her.
"Yeah right!" the archer commented as he quickly used Hirenkyaku to move himself in front of the man and kick him in the head. As the demon hunter stumbled back and recovered from the blow. "And just so you know, I'm a Quincy, a race of demon hunters like yourself."
"Demon hunters... Quincy... But wait... they were supposed to be extinct. What's going on here? You must be lying! If you're a Quincy, than why are you defending the demon in my daughter?!"
"Because you're daft! She's got no demon in here. That dark twin of hers is a gift, not a curse, like you're treating it as. It makes her special and powerful. But if you doubt me, then try to capture her. I'll stop you at every corner. I'll protect Elea with my life if that's what it takes. I'll stop the likes of you from killing those with talent from your fear of their potential. Now then, let's go!" Monroe stated firmly as he formed his bow in his right hand and drew the string back, readying an arrow. "Battle!"
