Re: Familial Hunt (Zorolo)

The midday sun sat idly in the sky. Monroe drew his bowstring back again and smiled. In a flick, the arrow rushed from the bow and towards the young girl, who narrowly evaded the blast that followed. The Quincy smiled as he fired again, only to watch the young girl narrowly evade the next attack. "Getting better, but try this!" he exclaimed, drawing back his bowstring again and firing off four arrows at once.

As the arrows moved quickly, the girl stared at them intently, getting ready to make her move. To evade the three at once only required her to know where they were going, but only Monroe really knew for sure. After all, he was the one that had aimed them. The first arrow struck the ground, and the girl slid away. The second made a break for where she was, giving her only the slimmest of chances to leap back and evade it. The next two arched towards her from both sides, threatening to pincer her in the attack.

"Bear your fangs and strike back!" the archer called out. Suddenly, two thick barriers of water rose up and blocked the arrows and their explosions, aside from the small recoil that knocked her back slightly. The little girl fell to her knees, looking relatively tired. Heavy breaths escaped her mouth as she looked at him.

"Good training, lets get some breakfast," he told her, smiling as he walked over to a pack laying on the ground and removing some food he had made that morning for their training. "After all, fighters can't fight on an empty stomach." He handed her a sandwich and smiled. "So let's take a small break."
