Familial Hunt (Zorolo)
(OoC: This one takes place a month after Battle Seeker.)
BiC:
My whole family are demon slayers. Except for myself, according to them, I’m a demon. One of the creatures that my family hunts, and kills. After I’ve left, I have been nervous of every day I wake up for one reason; Will I run into a member of my family? Elea closed her journal and put it into her left pocket, before standing up and following Monroe, off to train somewhere.
---------------------
“Son. It’s time to find your sister. You’re coming with me this time.” The young teen eagerly looked up at his father and followed him. The father’s red vest fluttered in the wind, as the two men left a cabin. “Thankfully, your grandmother thought to keep that mark on her, it’ll make this easier…” The father’s katana glowed white, while moving with him as he walked on.
Many miles later, the two men came into a forest, the red vested one looked at a sheet of paper. It was a map to a ruin of a town. “This way.” The boy, wearing leather armor on his chest and arms followed his father into the forest, one hand on the hilt of his shortsword.
---------------------
A noon day sun shone on worn buildings, ground down to half their size and random sized holes throughout them. Surprisingly, some pillars and roofs remained still, with barely a scratch on them. The forest around the ruined town was quiet, except for some birds singing and a voice.
“Come on Elea, keep trying.” Another arrow came close to her, only to bring up a square of water, just managing to block the blast after the arrow touched the ground. “Keep moving, Elea.”
“Right,” the child took of to her right, before an arrow flew in front of her, and she rolled forwards underneath it. Then she changed direction after popping up, heading to her left now, and spotted a faint shadow following her. Another arrow came into view, just a blur, but a square of water formed in midair to catch it, and contained the explosion.
“Good one.”
