She felt some pain near her wings, and felt something cut into a part of her skin. Shaking off her sudden shock, she dived down towards the odd human. So, he play rough… Ok, fine with me. Life Spark reacted quickly, surging towards her paws and tail as she fell at him.

The winged human turned to look up at her, readying his wooden weapon. Once she got closer, the cub swiped at him, only to watch him fly around her, striking her in the shoulder. “That’s all you got, beast?”

Her tail lashed at him, and connected, Amberstone knew it because of the clink sound and his sudden wince. Taking advantage of his pause, the gargoyle turned and swiped at the winged human again, her claws scratching on his armor. He pushed her back, and she fell towards the ground, but stopped herself by turning to the right and opening her wings again.

The gargoyle started to fly up towards him, growling in anger and happiness, since she was still learning how to fight in mid-air.
