I remember when I first got to the United States my first girlfriend in the US was a Japanophile. Like a hardcore Anime freak. Of course having just gotten here I didn't know of the horrors those people caused. So you know being from Japan and being a fairly nice person I was a target. Lets just say a majority of our dates were spent with her making me teach her Japanese phrases and me answering her endless pool of questions about Japan. Then when I hung out with her friends and her sometimes it'd just be them asking me to teach them more phrases and stuff and asked about bands I've never even heard of. I even bought her some Japanese manga books. After awhile, I grew tired of this endless stream of Otaku from her, I got rid of her and found the wonderful woman who now i'll be calling my wife by April of next year by the latest. Seriously. Miss Otaku even tried to get me to quit Men's Crew and Football to join the ****ing Anime Club since she was president. What the **** was I thinking back then. Wait I do know. She wasn't asian and coming from a place where everyone was, I liked the non-asianness alot plus since she liked the country I thought it would be like being in the USA but at home at the same time. Big mistake.
Moral of the story. DONT DATE JAPANOPHILES. THEY KILL YOU FROM THE INSIDE.
