If they are good it doesn't matter, the fact that they aren't "classics" is what is a failtacular. Just because a song is old doesn't mean everyone should like it and just because a song and or band is new doesn't mean that it's immediately bad. If you like a song or band then it doesn't matter but the problem with everyone complaining that a song or band is bad is a bigger issue.
