He was making his way back now, leisurely; in not much of a hurry. He had not taken very long to find what he was looking for; Cadenza was probably just leaving the port by now.

Rain’s mind wandered as soon as he thought of her; a small smile crossed his lips. He didn’t know how to describe this attraction, but it felt wonderful; his heart skipped a beat and he felt like singing for a moment. Ah…I’d like to do that for her, but I’d like to do it with a piano, if I could, his smile grew wider. “I wonder if she’d like that…” he thought aloud.

Rain stopped walking for a moment. What was he thinking…? Did he really like her that much already? His hand was in his pocket, a thumb running over the surface of one of the rubies. Why had he really picked this up? He looked down at the ground, beginning to walk again, Ah…maybe I shouldn’t give it to her yet…
