Okay, who actually *liked* TP?

Nope, I simply stated that since it has a critically acclaimed story it is a better story compared to the other games which did not have a critically acclaimed story.

It's like how "The Shining" is better than "The Poky Little Puppy"

And Aziel doesn't think OoT is better. The whole point to this argument was her trying to tell everyone that TP IS a better game. I told her how the story was sloppy. Idc if she likes it more than the others.. I was trying to point out how TP reused ideas. Which game is better is an opinion. I can clearly accept that.

Even if that is true about her (which I personally disagree), you don't need to be saying something so demeaning.

Enuf3: asserts that TP reused themes, and goes on to back up his story

except he only states anecdotal evidence, I actually provide critical acclaim for said story.

There was no panning done in regards to TP and so called reused elements.

TP follows the Zelda formula, just like OoT and WW follow the formula, which was established with aLttP.
If you contend that the formula is flawed, then you do not like Zelda games.

"Considered" is the key word here. In other words, it is opinion. So the storyline is critically acclaimed. So what? They are only voicing their opinions, which are like butt holes. Everyone's got one. Critics are just like anyone else, only that they're payed for their opinions. That does not mean that their opinions need to necessarily be doctrine though. Not everyone agrees with them.

That being said, while I agree that TP had a better story, that is merely my opinion. If someone thinks otherwise, then more power to them.

I think people are superimposing the wrong impressions onto what I've actually been saying.

It's arrogant however, to call a story trash if it's managed to win awards or rather, it's tasteless to do so.
