I was wondering how Majora is pronounced. (Ma-JO-ra? MA-jo-ra? And is it -rah or -ruh?)
Thanks!

Re: Pronunciation?
Personally, I've always said it like the word "major" with an a. So, 'may-jor-ah.'

Re: Pronunciation?
I'm with Maxi and DD, basically.
The way I say it is best represented by this: Muh-Jor-uh. It's kinda like..er... m'jor-uh. The separation of the "r" from the "jo" never occurred to me o-o. From what I've learned of Arabic, though, I can see how you and Fox, Queenie, would perceive them differently from, say, KK with his "major" root. I find myself reading cursive backwards and seeing Arabic words, now :0P' And I'm taking a History of Black America up to the Civil War course, right now, and the text books all start out with the African roots where Arabic started to take hold in certain countries a few hundred years after Mohammed's time--so I keep thinking out the Arabic script for each name I see (although some are tricky since there are many many African dialects mixed in).
