If they hope to preserve this ideology they should stop using it all together. Or turn and embrace it as a self-effacing word (which you seem to be doing, Andross)
Basically Greed is, by definition living beyond ones means.
Thus the phrase "greed in moderation" is much like saying you are eating Jumbo-shrimp.
