Re: Stranded.. (Open to All)
(OOC: I'll join using Kellas, my kitty robot :3)
It was hotter and sandier than usual, although Kellas wasn’t really aware of his surroundings. He was simply on the hunt for something relating to magic and had set himself on a bit of an autopilot to get around until something came up. A sudden flare of energy running through him shocked Kellas back into his artificial senses. Something paranormal was nearby, perhaps even magical. The small feline looked around, finally taking time to observe the surroundings. The robotic cat’s sensors indicated it was well over 100 degrees out and the winds were dead. Nothing but sand was noticeable as far as the eye could see.
The robot had given no thought on how he was to get back to civilization, but soon put the thought out of his mind for the moment. What was important was seeing if something Dr. Shnaps had a hand in was in the area. Kellas followed the faint call his sensors had given him and was led several miles through the desert. At the end was what appeared to be a small building. Shaking the ever increasing sand off of his fur, Kellas strolled slowly and calmly toward the mysterious place. As he continued down the path, he saw a small figure approaching the building from another angle and entering.
Seconds later the figure rushed out and looked around. Kellas’ sensors picked up nothing on the figure except that it was a somewhat short human female. From the way her arms were moving Kellas assumed she was armed and looking for trouble. Soon the human looked over in his direction. Kellas secretly hoped she hadn’t seen him, but he knew a black cat on white sand was quite hard to misplace. Slowly but surely the cat continued to approach despite the worried look on the woman’s face.
Kellas stopped slightly less than a hundred feet out of the building and began scanning it with his sensors, attempting to find the paranormal forces emitting from it. A cat shooting blue lasers out of its eyes was slightly too much for the poor woman to handle, and she yelled, “What are you!?” Kellas was too engrossed in the searching of the strange gas station to attempt and find anything.
Quite suddenly a round of gunfire shot past his head. He looked up to see the woman reloading. Kellas began walking toward her, stopping just shy of her feet and saying, “Hello,” as he began to transform.
