People need to stop being excited for this game because it's good for the Wii. The next time somebody tells me that they want to get this game, I want legitimate reasons.
Agreed. It looks to have a generic art style, and comments from the developer about making it 'as good as Halo' makes me believe the story is going to be just as generic and the gameplay is going to be boring 'run and gun' style play.

However, there are two reasons why this game seems interesting to me.

1.) The idea of a good FPS with good multiplayer and the Wiimote. MP3 had amazing control. This, with its focus on control and online, could be just as good if not better. I'd like to see that. granted, the Wiimote's ability to pick up micromovements can be annoying, but that can be remedied in software with smoothing (as it was in MP3) or with the Wii Motion Plus. If it utilizes the Wii Motion Plus I could see it beating out high DPI laser mouse control.

2.) The focus on control. Not just the polish of the control, but the flexibility and the seamless integration of customization. Comments have been made about being able to customize controls at will in game, as well as a lot of other really deep control options. This seems really interesting.
