Reserving Zelda '05

Hey, just something I thought I should share with you guys, Did any of you know that you can ALREADY reserve Zelda '05? I reserved mine at GameStop just the other day for only 5 bucks.

Hah, been there, done that. I reserved my copy ages ago Not at GameStop tho, but my "local" game store on the net. So far, they've always been fast on delivery, cheap and overall a good store to buy at.

ah, and your sig is 30 pixels too high, please edit it

Sure thing.
And you already reserved yours, wow. I mean the game doesn't even have an official title yet. That's awesome man.

Wow, I would never reserve a game over a year before it is due. My crazy friend did that with Halo 2 and has had to suffer through several delays.
I think Nintendo should bundle it with a bonus disk again, but not a Zelda bonus disk. Just a demo disk of the gamecube's best games. Many people will buy this game and doing that would help sell some software...maybe.

I'm not reserving it until the game has a title and it is a few months before it's release date.

No, I this game should be capable of selling very well without any pre-order gimmicks. And I'm also going to wait till a month or two before the game comes out before preordering.

The preorder gimmick wouldn't be to sell the game, it would be to sell Gamecube software. What I'm saying is the game will indeed sell very well, so Nintendo should take the opportunity to bundle it with a demo disk of other Gamecube software that hasn't sold so well.

I'm going to do the same thing with all Zelda games. I sometimes hate being left out of all the fun when everyone has the "new game in town" and all I can do is read in envy. But for right now I'm setting my savings on buying X-men Legends (which I've already reserved a copy at Gamestop thank you very much).

Hmm, i probably won't pre-order it until i see gameplay footage and figure out the story plot. Although i am for sure gonna buy it, i would like to know that information before i pre-order it.

Re: Reserving Zelda '05

Nintendo will probably start some goofy preordering gimic regardless of whether they need it or not. If they do, that's when I will preorder. If not, I will probably do it a few months before hand.

Re: Reserving Zelda '05

Yeah, personally I don't really see the point in pre-ordering it so early. Once the game has a title and all that, I'm gonna order it. When you think about it though, doesn't really hurt to do it already though, since it is most stores' policy not to charge before shipping anyways.

I don't read minds. I devistate them.

I don't like to do Gamespot. They will do anything to get more money quicker... offering preorders before the game has a title seems just like them.

That's odd... I won't reserve it until I know the title and have seen screenshots of it.
