I kind of like the idea of sticky bombs, all you do is throw it at something and they stick to it.

i think the first watter level would be a good place to find these bombs.

their function would help out with walls that you would have to be very accurate when it comes to acctually being able to blow up, walls that you have to get bombs in a spacific place. like the wall in ocarina of time in dadongos cavern (i had a very hard time blowing up that wall)
