Eyes bulging, wild with excitement, body shaking as adrenaline flowed through the veins, igniting a sense of thrill. Short, fast breaths escaped his body through a wild smile. The wind blew harshly, cooling the sweat running down his arms. The tingling sensation sent shivers across his arms, traveling around to his back. His eyes shifted around chaotically, taking in all his surroundings, anything and everything that might hurt or help him, producing preemptive strategies for whatever his opponent might bring to the table. And finally, he focused on the person in front of him, who stood there, seemingly calm and collected, waiting for him to make the first move. His smile grew even wider, more maniacal.

It had been far too long since his last battle. He was ready. Slowly, he unsheathed Katankagayuki. “The name’s Valkyhn. And yours?”
