Indeed, I am, and I decided to stop keeping my stuff hermetically sealed for fear of ridicule and other such abominations. It's a bad habit of mine. So, here you will find poems that I've finally decided to share with you, ZU, place-that-I-rarely-visit. (=P) Commentary would be appreciated.

This first poem is one I submitted to a poetry contest (a legitimate one), and I'm actually one of the winners to be published, so that's pretty awesome. It's also one of the ten I included in my book of poems called The Endless Road, which was my final project for my Creative Writing class. I also performed this as well as other poems at various open mics at my high school this past year. See if you can guess what it's about - I wrote it in Pre-Calculus while I was sick some months ago.

Congestion

These passageways, dank and dark,
welcome malicious intruders from
the abyss of disease.

They crawl up its walls
and settle in its cavities;
ever treacherous, ever silent.

With force they raise their shields
and resist the gusts of wind,
a phalanx of Phlegmish soldiers.

How persistent you are - bold men! -
to trespass private property and
infest these two narrow roads
with your slimy bodies;
To congest traffic and
conjure your General Malaise to
collapse your innocent enemy.

You can cackle now, lowly ones,
but here a wave comes:
A jet of lethal solution
to wipe out your defiant army.
