Re: Wisp Quill's Character List
Name: Elea (She does not tell people her last name.) (Pronounced El-e-yah)
Race: Human; a ‘broken’ Union
Race explanation: Union is her own term for herself and a physical part of her mind, her ‘sister’ that used to be attached to her, like a conjoined twin, but back-to-back. Since Elea had killed her father, she fell into a depression that made her ‘sister’ vanish entirely in her mind, thus the ‘broken’ part.
Eye color: A pale gray. Looks as if she’s zoned out mostly.
Hair & Hair color: White in the front, until you get to her ears, then from there on, it’s a light gray. Ends about three inches below her shoulders.
Weight: 90 pounds
Birthday: September 23rd. (Fall Solstice)
; One and a half foot long steel blade, the width of the blade is three inches across until it gets to three inches from the tip, which tapers to a point. The right half is a dark gray-black color and dull. The left half of the blade is white-silver and nearly razor-sharp. The center of the blade is a gray line, a slightly raised edge. The hand guard is a flat oval, with two raindrops on it, the tips pointing to the blade’s edges.
The hilt has a leather band wrapped around it, ending in a flat oval, with four raindrops. The raindrops look like they form a four-leaf clover. The ending oval is a blue-ish gray disk that sticks out a bit from the handle, three quarters of an inch over to be exact.
The leather on the hilt has a dark blue coloration starting at the edge of the band and seeping inward. It stops in the middle, leaving the original pale brown color as a straight line, almost a half an inch wide. There is just one band, with the leather coiling around the solid steel oval inside.
Looking at the sword from the tip, it looks like an upside down rain droplet. Elea holds it in one hand, with the black half facing up.
It is now charged with water magic, due to she accidentally enchanted it during The Battle Seeker.
Hydra has absorbed her father’s katana after his death in Familial Hunt. It is now also charged with light magic.
This sword was given to her by Monroe Vossler after her training.
This is her own style.
She found this style from training and learning from Monroe Vossler.
: Elea’s sword is designed for slashing, not stabbing. She can use the slashing to recoil missed attacks, sort of a double attack style. Elea tends to stand in an angled line, with her left side leading, but she can change it into a more traditional stance; it has her front fully visible, and her sword is facing the opponent.
These skill can combine into one attack, if needed, or able to.
Found them from learning and training under Monroe Vossler.
Will not use these very often, since Elea’s in a depression.
Depth Wail: Leads the attack with the dull half of her sword. An upward type of slash, mostly uses it on an angle. If the first part hits, she can follow it up with an axe-like swipe to the ground. She is open after the first swing is made, but she is learning how to quicken her response.
Tidal Serpent: This one uses the sharp half of the sword. Sweeps it in a slash in front if Elea. Follow up is the return slash, using the dull side. She is open after the slash is made.
Surf Crush: Comes in at a downward angle with the dull side facing the opponent. The sword then is shifted into a defensive hold, and brought upwards on an angle. She may be able to push a weapon away with this move.
Wave Crest: First attack mimics Tidal Serpent, but with opposite sides; dull side first, white-silver is next. After the second slash is made, Elea brings the dark half back up at an angle, then turns the sword around in her hand. That is so the recoil slash can use the dull side.
Armor: Nothing but the clothes on herself. Unless ice forms around her, then it can protect her, but it can break easily.
Appearance: Besides her hair, as listed above, she still has slashes in her pale green shirt and light gray jacket from her father’s attacks. Her eyes are often hidden by her drooping, medium circle of her head by and her white and gray hair. Elea’s skin seems more paler than normal. Her light blue jeans are dull and scuffed on the ends from her running over various terrain. There are tiny specks blood on the legs as well, but it’s mostly her own. Hydra hangs from her left hip in it’s sheathe, while she just looks blankly forwards, not caring about anything.
Drawn by Altamira. ^.^
Personality: Most of her emotions are gone now, lost in her depression. Mostly has a blank look on her face or a sad expression. Nothing seems to make her smile at all. She wouldn’t react to anyone, since she’s mostly lost in her memory. Feels alone, due to her sister is gone, and she wouldn’t talk that much, if not at all. If she does fight, she may become aggressive, or strangely calm.
Strengths: Her magic is stronger than before, and has become quicker with her agility due to her light magic. Knows how to use Hydra, a bit. If she is forced to attack, she becomes very aggressive, especially with her magic. Knows how to swim, but strangely can freeze the water around herself.
Weaknesses: Doesn’t attack often, mostly is a sitting duck due to she is lost in her memories. Her attacks are random and might not hit anything if she does choose to attack. The ice that builds up on her can hurt her if it’s not removed, causing frost bite or worse. She’s still learning a bit with her sword. Since she’s a child, Elea is weak physically.
: She has no certain attacks, and tends to form the ice to however it fits her. Mainly forms the ice into spikes, but can form a wall to shield herself. Ice tends to form on her for some reason, possibly due to her depression.
- Light glows around her and can be passed to another person. The brightness of the glow determines how fast the wounds can heal; dim would mean slow, while a bright white would be very fast. Forcing the light to become brighter, Elea uses a lot of energy, but it’s lesser if she’s using Hydra to assist her. She can not handle anything higher than an average glow; a faint gold-white around her and/or another person.
- Forms a flat version of a trident’s spearhead, but made purely out of light. The prongs are
razor sharp and can pierce through a person and keep moving, taking the target with them. It cannot pierce through steel or any stronger metals, if it does hit these metals, it will explode and the blast may send the object/person skidding backwards.
Was used to kill her father, mostly won’t use it again, unless she
It will be weakened if she has to use it, as well as blunted.
Elea has to aim in order to use this attack, and it cannot change it’s course once fired.
- Use her light magic to seemingly vanish into thin air, but actually moves along with the light. It tires her out, since she has to run when doing this. She can’t use this skill without a source of light nearby, and Elea can be ‘stuck’ when using this skill by destroying the light source. If she becomes stuck, the skill will burst, and throw her away from where she was when using the skill.
Biography: (Monroe Vossler is one of Zorolo's characters, Stormcloud belongs to Et. Cetera, Aronin is Fluesopp's character)
After leaving her home, Elea’s life became that of a wanderer’s. She walked through various forests and towns, constantly worried about her family finding her, and trying to use the water magic she found that she had. The child learned from her family on how to survive in the forests, but she wasn’t armed with a sword, just any good or strong stick she could find that could be her weapon.
She met a person that would later be her teacher in the middle of the night, Monroe Vossler. Even though she knew a little about swordsmanship, she learned a lot more from him than her father. Vossler took her into the Dome to train her more, and that’s when she received the un-named sword that would be Hydra.
The Union was finally able to control her water magic, but it caused her to meet another person like herself, Stormcloud. She only had her sister, while this person was able to split into three people. As the swords-girl fought him with her water magic, she found out that she had more skills than just pulling up a water orb. Her sister was already better at their magic however.
Elea continued to wander after that, and kept practicing with her sword and her water magic, all the while keeping an eye out for her family. That’s when she entered a town, and signed up for a tournament that was being held nearby, with her sister thinking it would be a good chance to see how she could handle herself in a fight.
The tournament was a ‘last-man-standing’ type, and there were five competitors total. Elea was doing well, minus one assistance from Monroe again, she managed to nearly take down two robots. After which she met one of the competitors, Aronin. The tournament didn’t go to well for her after that, the child ended up fainting due the poison of a flying centipede-like creature.
After a month is when her fear came to life. Her father and brother, Deacon and Noah, came to the ruins of a town where Monroe and the swords-girl were training. A fight broke out as soon as Deacon saw her, while Noah didn’t help at all, since he kept fainting. The fight mostly was between her father and Monroe, who was defending her. Elea had to fight her father after the Quincy was severely wounded and fainted. She split from her sister, for the second time, and her sister began to heal Monroe while Elea defended him and herself as well.
The fight ended at night, before Zachary could fight Deacon, but resumed the next morning. Elea and her sister split from each other and lead her father into the forest that surrounded the town ruins. Her father kept trying to kill her, but she ended up being the one to kill him, defending Monroe and Zachary in the process. Afterwards, Elea just stared at her father’s body, pinned to a tree from her use of Tri-Fang. Her sister informed her of what happened to him,
He’s dead, sister…
Elea immediately knew that she killed her father, and lost contact with her sister and fell into a depression. Even her magic changed; from water into ice, as well as gaining her light magic during the first part of the fight. Monroe then brought her to his home in Rubato to help her recover from the shock.
