You are so right. It's unfair how lower-class people have to pay a lower % in taxes than upperclass ones. My parents probably have paid more taxes in their life than half of the people on this board combined.


also for those who asked where I got "The GDP is up"
Try consulting the first page of the OrangeCounty Register's Your Money section... "Fastest GDP growth in 20 years", "[b]Economy Finds its 'Sweet Spot' Midyear outlooks predict biggest expansion in teo decades" Also there is a chart that shows the growth of the GDP since '84 and during Clintons last year it actually went down.
