Blaming it on poor translation is fine, but again where is the evidence?
And actually the Japanese version supports my theory, its the American
version that says Agahnim is ganons pawn, however the American and
Japanese version of the game both say Agahnim is Ganon, or is his alter ego.

And how would you explain Agahnim turning into ganon (surely not bad translation ?)
As even if he was using Agahnims body, it would still be Ganon.

Why would Ganon be unable to move freely in the dark world?
The seal was broken so it is posible ganon was able to move not only
in the dark world but also the light.
