To further Erimgard's point, wasn't it stated in
A Link to the Past that the Master Sword was forged by the Hylia?
If so, with the Picori Blade clearly made by the Minish, that sort of puts an X on the whole idea.
Besides...
The hilts don't actually even look similar.
