I'm looking for someone who can make any sense out of a weird thing my pc does.
I used to have a program from linksys that monitored my wireless connections for me. I was getting sick of it because it had a bubble notification that was annoying and could not be turned off. I uninstalled it and windows did not automatically go back to monitoring for me. I had to go into my Wireless Network Connection Properties and check the box "Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings.". It worked, all was fine. For now.
When I turned my pc on the next day there was no wireless connection icon in my system tray and I was not connected to the internet. I went back to my Wireless Network Connection Propterties but this time the entire Wireless Networks tab (where 'Use windows to configure my wireless network' setting is located) was gone! I was super confused. I hardwired my pc to the internet and googled it. I found out why the tab was missing, my 'Wireless Zero Configuration" was off. I had to do Start, Run then type "Services.msc". (Do this now for a better visual understanding of what I'm talking about) Scroll down to wireless Zero Configuration, right click and hit 'Enable'. Once this was activated the tab returned in my Wireless Network Connection Properties and like before I activated it, I got the system tray icon back and everything was good. Right? Wrong!
It does this EVERY TIME I START UP!! Doing this every time is getting annoying. Why won't my wireless stay on and configured? (And yes the 'Wireless Zero Configuration is set to Automatic.) I have googled and googled and I can't find anything to help me.

Help!
