I say if they want to, then they should go for it. I would certainly get a few (Pikachu, Kirby, and Yoshi are the ones I have in mind at the moment). And there are sure to be enough enthusiasts out there to to make this venture a decent marketing success for Nintendo. Maybe. But I say go for it.
