Just see, they almost the same:




Both live in death mountain, both is dragon and breath fire. Deku Tree in WW is Deku Sprout in OoT, related to deity Deku Tree in OoT. Jabun is related to Jabu Jabu, deity fish also in OoT. Of course Valoo is related to Volvagia who is deity of Gorons.
