The only one I can think of is when the guy I'm renting my house from cut my monthly rent payments in half because he went to the restaurant I work at and I was the waiter. Apparently, I was "the best waiter he'd ever encountered." Coincidentally, when I began looking for a house to rent, the one I settled on belonged to him. So, he handed me the keys, cut my monthly rent payments in half, and called it a day. I'm extremely thankful because, had he not done this, I would be homeless right now.
