Gears of War, Bioshock, hell, even Call of Duty 4 added just enough to be fun and have some new ideas.

Plus, whilst graphics are not the most important thing, they add a lot of depth. I have no quarrel playing games that don't look as good as PS3/XBox 360. I do have a quarrel playing games that not only look like Gamecube games, but in some cases look even worse!
i didn't say it had to have a new wii-style control scheme to be good. and i would never call Bioshock generic. its one of the most creative games I have ever seen and i haven't even played it.

what i am mostly trying to say is that they may not all be the same but a lot of them look and basically play the same. granted im no huge FPS fan anyway but i would take a game such as De Blob over almost every shooter on the market right now. im a gamer that loves to play things that are different from what ive played before. some gamers love to play every WWII shooter thats released and nothing else. thats fine. its the reason i Have a wii and not a 360. i can appreciate shooters but if nintendo goes i wont be nearly as big of a gamer as i am now if i play games at all.

and i agree with you on graphics. i absolutely hate the fact that the wii doesn't have enough processing power to even compare to the others. it sucks to always get a poorly done PS2 port of a multi-platform game with crappy controls tacked on at the last minute while the other consoles have awesome graphics and stellar online. in that regard i hate the wii but its a sacrafice i chose to make. if we give the wii a year or two im sure we sill start to see some truly great things. (although we shouldnt have to wait at all.)

Nobody's ever messed around with this stuff like this before. But yeah, I can't wait to see what the Wii has carved a path for in the gaming world. I mean, combined with the that Z Cam link I sent earlier...can this lead to virtual gaming??? Lol, maybe that's an exaggeration. As long as it doesn't end up like that Virtual Boy though

it not going to be another virtual boy. i dont think anybody could possibly make that mistake again. i feel the same as you. i cant wait for the future of wii (especially this years E3)

the mind control and Z cam things are cool but i would hate them in a video game. i like to feel the controller in my hand and to push the buttons myself. it would just be to different for my taste.
