Dave got lucky! That was really decent of them.

One thing stands out in my mind as generosity I've received. Up until recently, an older chap used to work with me. I usually walk to work, as it's only about a mile each way, but he would always make the effort to pull over somewhere and offer me a lift on his way past. This really helped out on those mornings where I just didn't get out of bed on time, and saved me from being late. He'd also wait around for a little while after work if I was really busy and running late to get out, and offer me a lift. He's just retired a few weeks back, but he was really kind. Much appreciated.
