Re: Wii ruining the market for hardcore gamers?

Uh, I have a question. What exactly defines a hardcore game? Just wondering, because I honestly don't know. I mean, there are plenty of games I like that are challenging and fun that others would call stupid. There are dozens of games many would consider 'classic' that others would simply turn down out of spite or it's association with Nintendo or whatever.

As for the Wii ruining the market for hardcore gamers - is it really? Well yeah, maybe. Especially considering it's current (and probable future) absence of third party support. But to be honest, Nintendo has be waning in the area of third party support for a while now. At the rate things were going, this was bound to happen. Not that I'm good at predicting things like this, but I guessed right. Nintendo just apparently isn't interested in third party stuff at the moment. And they probably won't be any time soon. Maybe... And I recall a SSBB of mine ranting about something similar to this on a forum of his...

And the way I see it, the Wii just doesn't seem to be for all of you who claim to be hardcore gamers. I'm not sure at all, but you all might be able to change their minds over at Nintendo. I mean, you are the consumer etc...but seeing as how they're doing just fine ($$$) amidst the complaints and unsatisfactories...
