Re: Broken Bones
I broke both the Tibia and Fibula in my right leg when I was in second grade. I was playing tag with a friend of mine, and since it was time to go back inside, the line we had to wait in was base. I was almost there. Running full speed, I didn't lift my foot high enough up to get onto the concrete walkway... and I tripped.
I knew for sure that I had broken my leg, but the teachers on duty didn't believe me, so I had to hobble to class. I told my teacher I needed to go the nurse through all my tears because I KNEW that I broke my leg. So, I sat in a rolly-chair and rolled up the incline to the nurse's office where I sat for forty minutes until my leg had swollen up immensely and was black and blue along my lower leg. FINALLY someone believed that I could have actually broken something.
The waiting was a pain. I waited a total of at least two hours, if not three, for my results. The lady who gave me the x-ray was rough with my leg; it hurt SO bad. D:
