It seems that nobody knows that part of the zelda timeline has been revealed. It is the relation between Zelda Oot, Ww, and Tp. This has been confirmed by both shigeru miyamoto and eiji aonuma.

First, before I tell you, there are a few other things you should know.

1. The split timeline/parallel worlds is true. At the end of Oot, there is a young and adult timeline.

2. Oot ganondorf, Ww ganondorf, and Tp ganondorf, are all the same ganondorf. Get that in your head. All 3 of those ganondorfs are the same person, however the Ww and Tp ones are in a different timeline/parallel world.

Now, I'm going to tell you the official timeline between these 3 games.

Ok, at the end of Oot, Link kills ganondorf and ganondorf gets sent to the sacred realm. Then, Zelda plays a song and sends Link back into his kid time, however, the current adult timeline still lives on without Link existing anymore. We already know this, but I'm just saying it anyway. This splits the 2 timelines into kid and adult.

Tp takes place 100 and something years after the kid timeline. Ww takes place 100 and something years after the adult timeline. Now for the timeline...

The adult timeline (Oot > Ww): Like I said before and like we all know, the adult world still continued to live on without Link existing anymore. Hyrule was saved, everyone knew what happened still, time just went on without Link. However, ganondorf somehow returned. It was never said how he returned, but he somehow escaped from the sacred realm and once again, started taking over hyrule. This is where the intro to Ww comes in. After the "hero of time" saved the land and left, the evil returned. The people called for the hero of time (Link) to return, but he never returned. Why? Because he does not exist anymore. He was sent back in time. Now there is no Link to save hyrule. So, the goddesses have no choice...they flood Hyrule. This results in...Ww.

The kid timeline (Oot > Tp(including Mm): Like we all know, at the very end of Oot, it shows kid Link visiting kid Zelda. Why is he doing this? Well, he still has his memory of before. He still knows everything that happened...he was just sent back in time. So, he knows ganondorf will soon start trying to take over Hyrule. And that is why he went to visit Zelda. He is warning her about ganondorf and telling her what he is up to, how he plans to take over Hyrule. After he tells Zelda and knows that Hyrule will take care of ganondorf, he leaves to Termina, resulting in Mm. But lets keep going and see what's happening at Hyrule. So, now everyone knows that ganondorf is evil. So, the sages try to kill ganondorf, so he can't take over Hyrule. However, ganondorf has the triforce of power. The sages can't kill him. So instead, they banish him into the twilight realm! And, as we all know, Tp says that ganondorf escaped the twilight realm. So basically, ganondorf was trapped in the twilight realm for over 100 years. This is why the world of Tp is a lot like Oot's, only bigger and much more evolved. It's 100 and something years later. The same areas are there, the same races, the same everything. So yes, ganondorf, after over 100 years, he broke out of the twilight realm to finally take over Hyrule, but this time, he's with zant. Now, they never say how zant got involved...but I'm guessing that while ganondorf was in the twilight realm, he met zant, and together, they broke out of the twilight realm to take over hyrule.

And that is the official timeline of those Zelda games. A lot of you already know, but from the theories going around, a lot of you don't either. I posted this on another forum, only a very short paragraph and not as much detail, but people still replied telling me thanks and stuff, because they never knew that was the timeline.
