I concur with Solus Anonymous: more advertising is crucial. The board on which the contests are being hosted is nearly invisible, being, as it is, at the bottom of the Art and Writing forum. I don't believe it's receiving enough exposure - not enough artists are consistently aware of it. Personally, I would think hosting the contests in the actual Artwork forum would be wiser, at least until the contests gain attention and momentum.
