RAM chip not working--
OK, to say it short and simple:
I did something to my RAM chip, and I know what it is, but does this affect my RAM chip permanetly?
The mistake I made was somehow take of 2 tiny little cylindrical fuse-looking thing on it.
TO say it long-wise:
I was curious about the inside of my computer, and I opened it up. I decided to check and see if my older HD could work, and my other RAM from another computer would work.
It didn't, so I tried my G-ma's broken Inspiron's dual 1GB chips. Unfortunately, they didn't.
Skip my other mistakes and I chipped those 2 cylinder things.
So, is my RAM chip broken forever, or is it fixable at all? It was a 512MB one, and was half of my RAM!
