There is a good reason for all the parodies. Nintendo has lovable franchises. Say what you want about this or that game, but I think almost everyone can agree that Nintendo has made some damn good series throughout the years, Mario and Zelda being one of the most famous.
The point is, people make parodies, mostly because they actually like the series. I mean, many of them make fun of the games, true. But it's usually not like "hey, I'm Mario and I suck balls". No, it's mostly parodies that are putting the games in other aspects. Like Mario jumping on a stone and starts bleeding because you can't do that in real life.
If anything, I love it that they make parodies. Sure, some are made by stupid 10 year-olds who know nothing about comedy or film making, but many of them are actually fun to watch. And not because you want to pick at the games, but beacuse you like them.
