i don't know, he might be able to, if he was tempted to, it could be like the harp of ages and rod of seasons and (maybe) book of secrets (i say maybe because that game [oracle of secrets] was scrapped, it featured farore as the oracle). legendary equipment, so link could (in theory) use them all, but its just a case of him wanting to (being tempted to the dark side by the trident)
