Trident of Power - the origin

In FSA, Ganon obtains the Trident of Power. Recently, new Japanese translations showed us that the game, when speaking of the Trident, does not refer to Ganon as the ancient demon, but to another demon, that is not present during the main story of the game.
So there has to be an evil demon, one that's much older than FSA.
I believe this creature was once summoned by the Dark Interlopers to control the Triforce. With the great power of the Fused Shadows and the Trident of Power, the monster tried to consume the Triforce.
Why do I think the demon came from the Dark Interlopers? Why do I try to make this connection?

Simple. Because of this video:

YouTube - Zelda Twilight Princess - Hyrule Castle - Part 1

When Midna uses the Fused Shadows, she changes into a demon. She uses a weapon to penetrate the barrier surrounding Hyrule Castle.

Compare that weapon to the Trident of Power:

I think the two are the same.

Here's what I think happened:
When the Interlopers wanted to control the Triforce, they knew they needed some very powerful magic. They created the Fused Shadows. When someone would wear this armor, that person would become an insanely powerful demon, that would have the enchanted Trident of Power as it's weapon.
When the creature was finally summoned to try and consume the Triforce(pretty much the same way like Midna broke the Twilight barrier), the Goddesses showed how strong they were. They sent the Light Spirits to defeat the demon, and split the Fused Shadows in pieces.
But the Trident remained, containing the spirit of the demon...

Quote:
Japanese text from FSA:
Born from darkness, the demon's evil device, the trident.
The Trident of Power went to a race living in the desert of Hyrule. They made a piramid to protect it. When Ganon came to get the Trident in FSA, he knew part of that super-powerful demon still remained in the weapon. With the power of the demon, Ganon would become a lot stronger.
In TP, Midna makes Ganon turn back to his normal man-form, so he's definately weakened by the power of the Fused Shadows. But Midna uses all of her energy to defeat the pig-Ganon, so when Ganon turns into his man-form, she's vulnerable to his attacks.
The demon is so powerful, that it almost menages to defeat someone carrying the Triforce of Power.

So in short: the 'ancient demon' in FSA isn't the older Ganon, whose soul enters another Ganon through the Trident. The 'ancient demon' is the demon that's formed by the power of the Fused Shadows. Ganon obtains the power of this demon when he gets the Trident of Power.

Just an idea. Please discuss.
