The game is basically a mordern day RPG, taking place in the 1990s. It has some pretty weird enemys, including hippies and cops. Ness fights with things like baseball bats and can use PSI abilites. To heal, you eat things like hamburgers. To save, you find a telephone and call your dad (who also gives you money to buy stuff). Yeah, its quite different from other RPGs.
