It means that it all started with the original LoZ. From that, three reincarnations came to be in different timelines (different dimensions, worlds something like that). The reincarnations where the links from ALttP, LA, and OoT. The original link went on to AoL.

ALttP's link: Nothing happened after that.

LA's link: went on to both of the oracles games.

OoT's link: went on to MM. hundred somethin' years later reincarnation BUT same timeline. OoT split into two more reincarnations; MC and WW.

MC's link:went on to FS and FSA.

WW's link: went on to PH.
