And the piece of the triforce in the bird clawns over the hylian shield im sure that reprsents the triforce of wisdom, the piece that is destined to be resguarded by the royal family of hyrule(zelda).

As much as I am getting sick of the Tetraforce, you can't say that it's called the Triforce because it has three pieces. The Triforce of Courage wasn't in the first game. So it had to be named after the shape, otherwise it would be the Diforce or Biforce or whatever.
