Firstly, how should they solve the problem with placement on the screen. Should it be Split screen either horisontal or vertical, or just one screen with both in sight? Either way would limit the options. Could you fight eachother or would the swords pass through eachother, and will things like drinking potions, using fairies or using things that would normally pause the game pause the game for both players, only for one or not for anyone? Also, should they be able to stay in two different areas, as that would be pointless when Co-Oping? What will happen if someone talks with others? What about enemy "loot" such as hearts and rupees? Will they share the money, have seperate helth bars? What can be done to evenly share the hearts to avoid one player from taking them all.. It's so many things that will not work out in such a game.

What if Zelda was like an MMO? You know, have many different Links online and you could meet up with them anywhere in Hyrule? That might be the only possible way to have co-op.
