Yes, I already knew at the beggining of the game she was a psychotic, bitter, b****, the point is that when she was exposed to light and saved by Zelda she changed. The fact that she went from a vengeful brat to a responsible ruler only made her a dynamic charecter. However even if she had remained unchanged throughout the game she wouldn't be nearly as annoying as Navi, Tatl, Tingle, or K G.
