Now, there are plenty of reasons people can die, especially in a midieval period of time, where poisoning royalties happened every now and then. Diseases, accidents, assassinations, etc.
I'm not saying I believe Link and Zelda to be immortal in the same way Ganon is, I'm just playing devil advocate here. You do not know Zelda and Link can die of age if they posess the Triforce.

But as I said, if they were it'd pervert the next heirs to the triforce getting it wouldn't it? We don't even know if Hylians can die of old age either.

I don't think he can honestly. I mean OOT you fought him, a fortress collapsed underneath him, you kicked his ass again, went carving made on his face with the master sword's "final blow" and he didn't die, he was simply stunned long enough to be sealed.
