First, because it's been awhile: Is it possible that your movements put them back to the way they were, and that you just THINK they're wrong? Go by gamefaqs, look at the chart.

If you've already done this, get one block against the right wall, and push it down. Then, move the other one to the left wall, then to the north, and then right. That's the default position.
