And don't forget that in PH, there are some Gorons that traveled from Goron Island to DeeEss Island after you beat the dungeon. How else do you think he got across?

Who's to say that they breathe? Does a rock die if it's submerged underwater? I say it's just difficult for them to move underwater.

With the conditions they can muster, I wouldn't be surprised if they could survive in space. But flying Gorons? You either need a Big Goron to throw one or for them to shoot a constant stream of flames from their fists (ala Goron Link) to propel from the ground. Or be shot out from a geyser/volcano. Or...
