That depends on what you think New Hyrule is. Myself, I believe that the FS Saga, ALttP and LA takes place in New Hyrule post-WW. As such, the Triorce behaves like it does in ALttP after WW according to my theory.
Most people place the majority of the 2D games after WW so ya... that's the general idea.
