Granted, they were quite different episodes, but I thought it was lame anyhow. The dialogue seems to be less snappy and clever. I still find myself laughing at a lot of the old episodes I've seen a billion times, but the newer episodes lack the semi-witt charms of the older seasons. I'm also not a big fan of the recent change in art- I always really liked the old animation style- it was kind of rough, but it was really quirky and had a lot of character, and it was unique to the genre at the time. Now the outlines of all the characters seem super-thick, and the colours are genericly cartoon bright and it looks a lot more CG.
i just made a thread about that!

looney toons. it was SO GOOD! but now there are all these retarded spin-off series. baby looney toons, space looney tunes, something about looney toons kids... i dunno. ALL CARTOON WRITERS SHOULD GO DOWN!
