Why I think this: because they talk alot about the the war that unified hyrule like in the Ocarina of Time when you meet the deku sprout and in the MC prologue. also an interesting twist might be the fused shadows and this is my evidence: This was said in the TP by LANAYRU and the great battle they mention is what I think to be that same war.

Does any of this make sense?
